VOR-TEC 5.3 FROM 2006 CHEV SILVERADO, WITH EDELBROCK PERFORMER INTAKE AND LS1 IGNITION CONTROLLER.
I HAD THIS ENGINE IN MY BOAT, IT RAN GREAT, BUT HAD A LITTLE BIT OF PISTON SLAP..
INTAKE AND MSD KIT WAS $750
AFFORDABLE TO REBUILD AND THROW A CAM IN IT TO MAKE 400 HP
COMES WITH MOROSO 6 QUART STEEL PAN WITH WATER TUBES RUNNING THROUGH FOR OIL COOLING.

Hi Tyler.
Do these engines run the same bell housing bolt pattern as a SBC?
What all would be adapted to run this engine in place of a SBC? Big power could be had for cheap methinks...

A different driveshaft adapter is required,
4 bolt motor mounts (u can adapt the 3 bolt sbc ones)
Exhaust manifold are different too
alternator bracket...
