Ron Millar one of our boat racers from the 70's & 80's died last friday. He spent alot of time with Rob and Fred Chrunyk, Ralph, Harry, Butch and the rest of the Red Deer teams from the day. He will be missed by all.
Ron owned and kept up the boat launch west of Penhold for the last 30 years. He was always there to lend a hand with our race boats and tell us what we were doing wrong. Drink a couple of beers and have a rum when things were all done.
There will be a get together for Ron's friends at his Shop Saturday afternoon at 4:00

Damn rights he'll be missed.
I certainly will miss our banter and drinking beers with him.
He was a hell of a good guy.
